Troubleshooting: "my borrower can't upload"

Work down this list — it resolves nearly every case:

  1. Link says invalid/expired/revoked? On the file page, click "New link to copy" (or resend the invite). Old links die whenever a new one is issued — that's a security feature, and every reminder email already carries a fresh link.
  2. File is closed? Closed files don't accept uploads. Drag it out of the Closed column to reopen.
  3. Asked for a code? Your firm has "Extra verification" on — the code goes to the borrower's email and lasts 10 minutes. Check spam, or turn the setting off in Settings → branding.
  4. "File type not accepted"? We accept PDFs, photos (JPG/PNG/HEIC), Word, Excel, and CSV — up to 25 MB each. Renamed executables are blocked on purpose.
  5. Upload limit message? A single link allows ~120 uploads per hour — it resets on its own.

Still stuck? The borrower can simply reply to any of your emails, and you can upload on their behalf: download from their email, then attach via the file page.
