API keys & the LendPacket API (beta)
Connect LendPacket to Zapier, Make, or your own tools. Admins manage keys at Settings → Manage API keys.
Keys
- Keys are firm-wide and read-only: they can list recent activity but can never download document contents, change files, or touch settings.
- The full key (looks like `lp_…`) is shown once at creation — copy it then. Revoking a key stops it working immediately. Up to 10 active keys; use one key per tool so you can revoke them independently.
- Every key creation and revocation is written to your audit trail.
Using the API
Send the key as a header: `Authorization: Bearer lp_your_key`. Base URL: `https://www.lendpacket.com/api/v1`. All endpoints return JSON and accept `?since=<ISO timestamp>` and `?limit=<1–100>`:
- GET /me — confirms the key works; returns your firm name.
- GET /files — recent loan files (name, loan type, stage, status), newest-updated first. Optional `?stage=` filter.
- GET /documents — recently uploaded documents (file name, checklist item, AI status) — metadata only, never the document itself.
- GET /completed-files — files whose required checklist just finished, with the completion time.
Zapier / Make
A LendPacket Zapier app (e.g. "when a file completes → post to Slack / add a row in Sheets") is in the works — these endpoints are what it runs on. Until it's listed, anything that can poll a JSON API (Zapier Webhooks, Make HTTP module) works with the endpoints above.
